We are the Montana Gender Alliance.

Montana is our home, and every person belongs here.

We work every day to make sure that transgender, nonbinary, and Two Spirit folks feel the love, support, and community they need to keep calling Montana home.

It can be hard to find resources meant for us in our rural state. That’s why we’re here! Everyone needs a little help sometimes, and we ourselves have experienced the positive impact of getting support from people who understand our unique lived experiences. So we give back by helping every transgender, nonbinary, and Two Spirit person who needs it. Read more about the help we provide on our Resources page.

Part of our mission is to make sure no transgender, nonbinary, or Two Spirit Montanan feels lonely. That’s why we hold regular events to bring our community together. We celebrate our lives by finding joy and connection with each other, and we invite you to join us! Find out how by visiting our Community Events page.

We also work to make sure Two Spirit, nonbinary, and transgender folks are visible and heard in Montana. We show up and speak out, so that no one ever has an excuse to ignore our community, our needs, and our rights. If you want to join our advocacy work, we would love to have you!

You can reach out to us through our Contact Us page to lend your voice, request our support, or hear when our community events are coming up. We look forward to hearing from you!

We’re staying accountable to the communities we serve by having our decision making entirely composed of trans, nonbinary, and Two Spirit people in Montana. We want to be especially accountable to folks with intersectional experiences, and pay particular attention to their feedback and leadership. If there’s something happening in the community you think we should be aware of, or recommendations for how we can be more inclusive, please share with us in our contact form.
